BIO;

A song written upon finding 100yr old guitars whilst travelling through Nashville 2018 with my best buddy James Difabrizio.
A true collaboration where the songs concept and melody was born on the steps of our AirBnb.

Three years on the song relays the same meaning but with a new context being released within the Covid 19 landscape. We all have an important part to play in defining our worlds tomorrow and it helps if we do it with a little bit of love.

LYRICS;

A young man will follow what his father has written, to find a young lady with whom he is smitten. A wife and three children by 23, a simple life of love, joy and family. A life soon forgotten down the straight and narrow, he'll welcome all walks into his family home. To welcome and nurture are the threads that he'll sew.
As he weaves, into this tapestry that's our tomorrow.

She works round the clock in her suit and tie, a diligence and vigor that none would deny. She's trying to make her mark on the industry, with a gender wage game so discriminatory.
We need female bosses and CEO's as her Nan's harping on about family goals. To lead amongst nations are the threads that she’ll sew.
As she weaves, into this tapestry that’s our tomorrow.

The swallows take flight casting casting worry aside, as the truth takes a hold with out warning.
The birds of the vine so fickle on twine lye in awe as the sun grips morning.. This is our canvas, now come let us paint.

Forty thousand dollars on my education, to government funded asshole like organizations. I won't change the world with my arts degree but I find my joy in people, rhymes and melody.

If we love little more as we're all on our way, we might leave, the world a little better than it looks today.

We all weave, into this tapestry, it's our tomorrow.
